Your personal driver will be waiting for you at the port of Livorno directly at the cruise dock, holding a sign with your name on it.

We travel to Chianti wine region , (1:30 min from Livorno)

After a mere 45 minutes on the highway you will find yourself on the Chianti Wine Road amidst the lush, rolling countryside ,

Your driver will take you through classic sweet hills, surrounded by vineyards and silvery green olive groves, between farms and castles , farmhouses, and cypress trees. (here it produces the famous Chianti wine) breathtaking scenery , the spectacle of nature that changes colors every season is a living picture postcard!

Start the beginning short stop in an Medieval borgo deemed “one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy”, the Castle of Montefioralle small birthplace of Amerigo Vespucci   (navigator and discoverer of the Americas ).

Then we move to the Castle of Verrazzano , (the famous Giovanni da Verrazzano noble commander navigator ,discovered the Hudson River and the bay where it would kind New York – was born around 1485 and died in 1528).

Here we will visit the Castle with a guide of the Castle will bring in the garden and in the cellar explaining history , starting in the wine tasting in the cellars, that will continue over lunch in the castle . You will get to taste excellent wines and olive oil right from the source!

It cost 35 euro per person , cost is an extra, payable in cash directly to the driver before you start visiting the castle

We spend the remaining time visit Greve in chianti (country considered the gateway of chianti) here we have all around the central square many shops selling local products, a famous butchers ” Falorni shop ” where have cold cuts also excellent cheeses, the cellar of the village , it is definitely worth seeing , cellar elegant and modern but traditions still tied to the past . buying a magnetic card ( worth 10 euro ) you can taste different types of wines of Chianti or Brunello di Montalcino and Sassicaia in short many famous wines , but also Grappa and Limoncello

After all that rest into the van that will take you back to the ship ,We will be at your ship to 17:00 / 17:30 pm max.
